I occasionally write things about music too. ​My academic work has focused on the analysis of living or recent composers' work - namely, Unsuk Chin, Hans Abrahamsen, George Benjamin and Oliver Knussen - but I've also worked on Stravinsky's relationship with early jazz. An analysis of Abrahamsen's let me tell you will be published in TEMPO (Cambridge University Press) next year. I've also written more journalistic pieces for Serenade, India's only publication dedicated to Western classical music, and countless programme notes, some of which can be read below.
